After a very successful and jam-packed opening weekend, Yardley Players Theatre Company’s production of MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS has completed the official 2015 eligibility form and is now eligible for nomination at The 2015 (yes, 2015) Kelsey Awards, taking place in August of 2015.
MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, which is directed by Kristy Davis and choreographed by the very talented Laura Murey Ghaffoor, opened to rave reviews this past July 18th inside The Kelsey Theatre. If you haven’t caught it yet, this production runs for one more weekend (July 25-27, 2014) before the trolly leaves the station. The Kelsey Awards are presented by K2KEntertainment and The Kelsey Theatre Advisory Board. They both have jointly administered the Kelsey Awards since 2011, the year of the first live Kelsey Award ceremony. (CLICK HERE to see previous nominees and winners.) What sets this event apart from any other theater community theater award event is the fact that the general public (YOU!) choose the nominees AND the winners in each and every category. Throughout the summer, you will vote for your favorite productions and performers from the mainstage season at Kelsey Theatre. The 2014 Kelsey Awards are THIS August 16th at 8PM … CLICK HERE for more details!
But of course, since The Kelsey Theatre features full-length productions all year, the work for The 2015 Kelsey Awards have already begun, and MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS is the first show to become eligible for next year’s awards. Below, you will find a list of all of the categories that the show has submitted for nomination:
Please note – The list below show ELIGIBILITY STATUS, not nomination status. Nominees are determined via voting of all the ELIGIBLE candidates from ALL the show during the 2014-2015 Kelsey Theatre season. Voting begins in June 2015.
