Based on St. John’s Gospel account of the last week in the life of Jesus, Christ’s final days are dramatized with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatricality by Playful Theatre Productions. Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s turbo-charged rock musical is a timeless work set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.

Jesus Christ Superstar opens Friday, November 7th and runs through Sunday, November 16th inside The Kelsey Theatre.
