The first round of voting for The 2015 Kelsey Awards is set to begin on June 22nd! Here is everything you need to know about The Kelsey Award voting process:
HOW VOTING WORKS
Here at The Kelsey Awards, if there is one thing that we pride ourselves in, it is the fact that we allow YOU, the general public, to choose the winners each and every year.
All voting takes place on The Kelsey Awards website.
Each year, the voting is separated into two rounds: the NOMINATION ROUND (Round 1) and the FINAL VOTING ROUND (Round 2).
The first round, titled NOMINATION ROUND, will take place June 22-27. This round will list ALL eligible shows and performers. The general public will select the candidates that they feel should be nominated for a Kelsey Award. The candidates with most the votes in Round 1 will officially become 2015 Nominees and will move on to Round 2 of the voting process. The rest of the shows or performers will be eliminated from contention.
The Nominees will be announced on Monday, June 29.
The second round, titled FINAL VOTING ROUND, will take place June 29-July 5. This round will list the Nominees in each category. In the second round, the general public will choose the nominee that they feel should win the award. The nominee with the most votes at the end of the second round will be declared the winners of that category. The winners will be revealed and announced during the live ceremony July 25, 2015 inside The Kelsey Theatre at 8pm.
