The award-winning Maurer Productions OnStage brings Mark Brown’s adaptation of the Jules Verne novel to the Kelsey stage for the very first time. Fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his faithful manservant, Passepartout, are racing to beat the clock. Fogg has agreed to an outrageous wager that he and Passepartout can circle the globe in an unheard of 80 days. But Fogg’s every step is dogged by a detective who thinks he’s a robber on the run. Danger, romance, and comic surprises abound in this whirlwind of a show as five actors portraying 40 characters traverse seven continents!

“Around the World in 80 Days” has been produced literally around the world — from Off-Broadway, to Baridhara Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has been named to multiple “Best Of” lists and has garnered many awards since its premiere in 2001.
