SYNOPSIS

The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is often considered Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy. We meet the young prince Hamlet in the wake of his father’s untimely death, as his uncle Claudius ascends to the throne of Denmark with Hamlet’s mother as his new bride. Haunted by his father’s legacy and crippled by the weight of his grief, Hamlet struggles with his identity and his future, with a solitary goal in mind: revenge.

CASTING

All age ranges are flexible, and Shakespeare ’70 is interested in seeing all actors regardless of age or gender for future casting within the company.
