The 2017 Kelsey Awards Nominations: The Complete List

The 2017 Kelsey Awards Live Ceremony, where the winners will be revealed, will take place on Saturday, August 19th at 7pm inside The Kelsey Theatre.

The nominations for The 2017 Kelsey Awards were announced this morning via The Kelsey Awards website.

The hit musicals “Miss Saigon” and “In The Heights” lead the pack with 19 nominations each, followed by “The Boy From Oz” with 14 and “The Little Mermaid with 13. In the play categories, “Boeing Boeing” nabbed 8 nominations, followed by “To Kill A Mockingbird” and “Unnecessary Farce” with 7 apiece.

Honoring the best of the 2016-2017 Kelsey Theatre season, the awards will be handed out in an August 19th ceremony at 7pm inside The Kelsey Theatre in West Windsor, New Jersey.

Tickets for the ceremony are now on sale and can be purchased HERE. The annual event will reveal the winners in each category and feature performances from all five Outstanding Production of a Musical nominees, along with special preview performances of the upcoming productions of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “Memphis”. The ceremony also features some special surprise performances, cameos, and presentations that commemorate the 2016-2017 Kelsey Theatre season.
