MorganPetronis

Morgan is no stranger to the Kelsey Theatre stage and The Kelsey Awards. It wasn’t long ago that she graced us with her presence in “Steel Magnolias” and “The Miracle Worker”, and now she’s back as a Kelsey Award nominee for her brilliant performance as Isabella in “Measure for Measure”.

How do you like working at The Kelsey Theatre?

MORGAN: I love working at Kelsey! I’ve met so many kind, passionate, and talented people working here.

What is your favorite Kelsey Theatre memory?

MORGAN: I have several lovely memories, but I particularly loved our ASL-interpreted performance of “The Miracle Worker”. Another favorite memory is developing the character of Isabella in “ Measure for Measure”. Those were some of the most emotionally driven scenes I have ever had the opportunity to perform.

What is your most embarrassing moment on or off stage that’s theater-related?

MORGAN: Honestly, I can’t think of any, but I may have repressed the memories. If anyone wants to call me out for anything, I’m game.

If there’s one person at The Kelsey Theatre you’ve been wanting to work with, but never had the opportunity, who is it and why?

MORGAN: Hmm, who can I score brownie points with or offend by answering this question? No comment.

What is your dream show that you’d like to work on?

MORGAN: There are many, and my list is constantly evolving, but I’ve wanted to work on “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” for a long while.

Are you excited for The Kelsey Awards on Saturday, August 19th?!

MORGAN: Yes! It’s an opportunity to celebrate the arts and celebrate one another.

A special message to all of the people who voted for you and made you a nominee…

MORGAN: Thank you for your support!
