EXTRA EXTRA: Tickets Now On Sale for The 2017 Kelsey Awards!

Other scheduled performances include the five musicals nominated for Outstanding Productions of a Musical (“Anything Goes”, “In The Heights”, “Miss Saigon”, “The Boy From Oz”, and “The Little Mermaid”), along with other performances that will be announced soon. The ceremony also features some special surprise performances, cameos, and presentations that commemorate the 2016-2017 Kelsey Theatre season.

From the seedy nightclubs, radio stations and recording studios of 1950s Memphis, comes this hot new musical filled with explosive dancing, irresistible songs and a tale of fame and forbidden love. Inspired by actual events, it tells the story of a young, white DJ named Huey Calhoun who falls in love with everything he shouldn’t: rock and roll and an electrifying black singer, Felicia Farrell. Experience the cultural revolution that erupted when his vision met her voice, and the music changed forever. This winner of 4 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, is filled with laughter, soaring emotion and roof-raising rock and roll.

Honoring the best of the 2016-2017 Kelsey Theatre season, the awards will be handed out in an August 19th ceremony at 7pm inside The Kelsey Theatre in West Windsor, New Jersey. Tickets for the ceremony are now on sale and can be purchased HERE.
