‘Hamlet’ Heads Into Final Weekend at The Kelsey Theatre

The Kelsey Theatre is pleased to welcome back the Mercer County-based theater company Shakespeare ’70 for “Hamlet”, now heading into it’s final weekend of performances.

Now in its 47th year at Kelsey, the company presents Shakespeare’s epic tale about the Prince of Denmark, considered by many to be Shakespeare’s best play, on Friday and Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm.

MCCC Set to Debut ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream” This Weekend

West Windsor, N.J. – Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Academic Theatre Company will present an original adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Fridays, April 1 and 8 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, April 2 and 9 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, April 3 and 10 at 2 p.m.  Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

The play features all of Shakespeare’s comic and fantastical fairy elements and characters, but adds American jazz dance fused with classical Indian dance. Audiences can expect to experience the play as an electrifying Bollywood-inspired production fused with Shakespeare and jazz.

Shakespeare ’70 will be holding open auditions for their June production of The Winter’s Tale at the Kelsey Theatre, on the campus at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, NJ.
Performance dates are June 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21, 2015.  Friday and Saturday night performances are at 8:00 pm and Sunday afternoon performances are at 2:00pm.
